Assistant Professor – Molecular Imaging (3‑year position)

About the role

The Department invites three highly motivated Assistant Professors to lead independent molecular imaging projects. This is a three‑year fixed‑term appointment, expected to start between November 2026 and February 2027, based in Copenhagen.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and analyse high‑impact translational research in molecular imaging.
• Supervise and mentor graduate and post‑doctoral researchers.
• Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
• Contribute to research‑based teaching and curriculum development.
• Support fundraising activities and collaborative projects across academia, clinical settings and industry.

Required profile

• PhD in Molecular Imaging or a closely related field.
• Strong publication record appropriate to career stage.
• Documented teaching experience at pre‑ and postgraduate levels.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
