Asphalt Contractor Manager – Aarhus

About the role

NCC Industry, part of the NCC group and one of Northern Europe's leading players in asphalt production, supply and material extraction, is looking for an entrepreneur manager based in Aarhus. Reporting to the Area Manager for Area Midtjylland, you will plan, coordinate and deliver asphalt contracts across the region, working closely with customers, contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver asphalt contracts from start to handover
• Coordinate customers, production, laying crews and subcontractors
• Keep close contact with stakeholders throughout each project
• Own the economics, calculations, budget tracking and results of your projects
• Ensure quality, productivity and efficient use of resources
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and methods
• Ensure compliance with work environment, quality, environmental and safety requirements
• Support tendering, contract review and follow-up on tenders and orders
• Make quick decisions when plans, resources or assumptions change

Required profile

• Background as a contractor manager, project manager or similar, with overall responsibility for planning, controlling and delivering contracts
• Experience managing contractors and subcontractors
• Relevant technical education such as engineer or civil engineer
• Good understanding of project economics, calculations and contract control
• Strong relationship building, customer focus and ability to stay calm under pressure
