Driftsansvarlig – ansvar for produktionslinjer

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager (Driftsansvarlig) to lead one or more production lines at BASF’s high‑tech facility in Ballerup, Denmark. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will ensure stable, high‑quality production of micro‑encapsulated vitamins and carotenoids for the food, supplement and pharmaceutical markets.

Key responsibilities

• Take operational ownership of assigned production lines, monitoring daily performance and ensuring continuity across all shifts.
• Proactively anticipate and resolve issues related to quality, timing, staffing and equipment availability.
• Coordinate medium‑ and long‑term production planning with Production Planning and Supply Chain, balancing output targets with plant availability, maintenance needs and workforce constraints.
• Act as the central reference point for the lines, collaborating with shift leaders, maintenance, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure that processes, equipment and documentation are ready for scheduled production campaigns.
