About the role
BLAST is seeking a Technical Director to lead the setup and operation of broadcast technology for large esports productions. You will work from our Copenhagen office and travel globally to deliver high‑energy live shows.
Key responsibilities
- Program and configure Grass Valley K‑Frame, Sony XVS and Blackmagic ATEM switchers for complex live events.
- Implement automation technologies using Companion and Cerebrum.
- Set up and maintain broadcast equipment such as EVS, Cuepilot, cameras, Riedel intercom and routing gear.
- Train directors and engineers on switcher operation and keep the team updated on new technologies.
Required profile
- Curious, quick learner eager to master new technologies.
- Proactive, decisive with strong ownership.
- Willingness to work onsite in Copenhagen and travel internationally.
- Fluent in English.
Required skills
- Experience with broadcast switchers (Sony, Grass Valley, Blackmagic ATEM).
- Knowledge of Companion and Cerebrum automation tools.
- Hands‑on experience with EVS, Cuepilot, Riedel intercom and broadcast routers.
